И когда выходил (Иисус) из воды (Иордана), тотчас увидел Иоанн разверзающиеся небеса и Духа, как голубя, сходящего на Него (Мк.1:10). Когда... Иисус, крестившись, молился: отверзлось небо, и Дух Святый нисшел на Него (Лк.3:21–22).

 And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. (Mk 1:10) ... when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on him (Lk 321-22)
Так Дух Святой благодати посещает человека по очищении крещением покаяния. Когда в крещении покаяния будет погребен «ветхий», истлевающий человек, тогда и отверзаются для человека небеса и ему даруется веяние благодатного Духа. Святой Лука боговдохновенно присоединяет упоминание о молитве Христа по выходе из воды и тем больше углубляет мысль о времени ниспослания Святого Духа: «Иисус, крестившись, молился: (тогда) отверзлось небо...» И для христианской души, прошедшей искус очистительного покаяния, надо сейчас же вступать в духовный подвиг устремленности к Богу (подвиг молитвы), и тогда откроется ей небо.

 Thus the Holy Spirit of grace visits a person who has been cleansed by the baptism of repentance. When in the baptism of repentance the "old", decaying person is buried, then the heavens open for the person and he is given the winnowing of the grace-filled Spirit. St. Luke, by inspiration of God, adds the mention of the prayer of Christ upon emerging from the water and the more deepens the thought of the time of the sending of the Holy Spirit: “Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, (then) the heavens were opened”. And for the Christian soul, which has passed the ordeal of cleansing repentance, it is necessary to immediately enter into the spiritual feat of striving towards God (the feat of prayer), and then heaven will be opened to it.
Отсюда вывод: не нервничай, не впадай в малодушие, не торопи Бога открыть тебе Свои объятия. Дух Господень приходит не по первой твоей мысли: «Вот я пойду ко Христу...» Он обвеет тебя, когда ты в покаянии погребешь старого осужденного тобой человека и начнешь духовный подвиг устремленности к Богу.
 Hence the conclusion: do not be nervous, do not fall into cowardice, do not rush God to open His arms to you. The Spirit of the Lord does not come at your first thought: “Here I will go to Christ...” It will wrap you when you bury the old person condemned by you in repentance and begin the spiritual feat of striving towards God.
